Svetlana Ganeva is a partner who has over 15 years of professional experience in the corporate and commercial law, foreign investments, public procurements, aviation law and European law. She has participated in numerous EU funded projects as legal expert or project manager. She has worked as a legal counsel to different local and foreign companies and NGOs and as a governmental consultant for various projects.

Her concessions expertise includes major projects such as Varna and Burgas airports concession as a legal expert at the Barents group/ Bearing point and as a legal consultant of the Ministry of transport and communication during the tender procedure for granting a concession on both airports; Varna and Shoumen water and waste water services concession as a consultant to Ondeo Services, France, and AquaMundo ,Germany; Sofia water and waste water concession as a legal consultant to Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux, France.

Svetlana Ganeva’s unrivalled aviation experience includes her work as legal counsel to the Sofia Airport, the Bulgarian aviation company Hemus Air, Aer Rianta Consulting and others.

She has a remarkable experience in drafting and negotiating international engineering contracts (FIDIC) as a legal advisor on major construction projects in Bulgaria such as Sofia airport reconstruction, development and extension project, Tsankov kamak project and others.

Ms Ganeva graduated from the Sofia University with a Master degree in law and from the University of Nancy, France, with a LL.M. in European Communities and European political studies. She is a member of the Sofia Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the Bulgarian Association of Women in Legal Profession and the Association des Anciens de Nancy. Ms Ganeva speaks English, French, Russian and Italian.
