
Stoil Hristov is a partner whose areas of practice are corporate law, banking, foreign investments, securities, project finance, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets and European law.
Mr. Hristov has been advising and representing a broad range of clients in connection with their business activities in Bulgaria such as Bloomberg in co-operation with the American law firm Willkie Far & Gallagher LLP, Standard & Poor's, Lidl, Alpine Mayreder Bau GmbH, Eurocopter, Armaris, EFG Telesis Finance and numerous other multinational companies. He advised the Bulgarian government in co-operation with the French law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel on the concession of Varna and Bourgas airports.
Prior to joining Arsov Natchev Ganeva, Mr. Hristov was a consultant in the sales and investment department at Colliers - the world’s largest commercial real estate firm, and intern with Deloitte & Touche, Sofia. He worked at the construction company Glavbulgarstroi in Tuapse, Russia.
Mr. Hristov graduated from the Sofia University with a Master degree in law. He was awarded an achievement scholarship by the Pallas Consortium consisting of the law faculties of eight leading European universities and graduated in the Netherlands with a Pallas LL.M. degree in European business law. Mr. Hristov has additional qualifications gained at the program in American law of Columbia Law School in the Netherlands and the program in European Community Law of King’s College, London University in London. He has specialized in E-Commerce law at the Nijmegen University, the Netherlands. In 2005 he made a secondment with the German law firm Korte Dierkes Künnemann. Mr. Hristov is a member of the Bulgarian Bar Association. He speaks fluent English and German and has very good knowledge of the Russian language.
