Jivko Rokov is a partner since 2004. He practices primarily in the areas of corporate and business law, foreign investments, mergers & acquisitions, labor and employment, administrative law, civil procedural law, concessions and environmental law.
Mr Rokov has been acting as legal consultant for a number of large Multinational companies such as Danone, Akzo Nobel, Gebr. Heinemann, Alpine Mayreder Bau GmbH, and many others. He has actively participated on behalf of the Ministry of Transport and Communications during the final negotiations for granting concession on the Black Sea airports Varna and Bourgas.
Mr Rokov has a significant expertise in litigation in both commercial and labor law.
Mr Rokov has also an extensive experience in the innovative filed of environment law, in particular the implementation of the EU Directive 94/62 EC on packaging and packaging waste and the domestic legislation launched in 2003. He has been advising Ecopack Bulgaria AD, the first Bulgarian Packaging recovery organization, member of Packaging Recovery Organization Europe - Pro Europe, since its very establishment back in 2004 and has participated proactively in a number of initiatives aiming at enhancement of the waste management regulatory framework on a European level.
Mr Rokov graduated from the Sofia University with a Master degree in law. He is a member of the Bulgarian Bar Association. He speaks fluent English and Russian language
