Mr Kostov joined Arsov Natchev Ganeva in 2008 as an Attorney - at - Law. Prior to that, he did a traineeship in the Legal Service of the European Commission (2008) and worked in a law firm in Bulgaria (2007 – 2008).

Mr Kostov has been admitted to the Bar in  the Republic of Bulgaria (Sofia Bar Association) in 2007.

He completed his main legal education at the University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2006 when he obtained his Master of Laws degree. In 2007 he graduated from Amsterdam Law School, University of Amsterdam with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International and European Law with a specialization in European Union Law.

Mr Kostov speaks English and has knowledge of the Spanish language.
